GETTING IN TOUCH W/ THE LAND: Gardening and cooking has really become a source of therapy for me. Being able to watch fruits and vegetables grow from a seedling or creating artistry from fresh produce. It is almost as though I am able to detach from everyday life and tap into another side of reality. (Pictured above: heirloom tomato plant

These rolls are so light and refreshing and perfect for a summer "pick me up" I usually like to add a balsamic glaze and or eat them like so.

Healthy Habits Everyone Can Achieve

Getting back to the basics and doing away with processed foods: It really comes down to preparation in so many aspects whether it's breakfast, lunch or simply just a snack.We have to make sure were reaching for the right things.Think about if you actually took the time to really prepare your meals, how much better you would feel?! Often times we get so sluggish after we consume "fast food" b/c of all of the unnecessary additives. These days me and my family create green juices that last for 3 days in the fridge. Were able to get our fruits and veggies in by a simple drink! Over night oats have been our go to's quiché, breakfast burritos, &

 salad jars. All of these are quick and easy because lets face it no one wants to spend all day in the kitchen cooking.
